Matthew was on a mission in Chapa Dara Afghanistan and was killed by an IED blast on Aug. 21, 2009.

My Hero

Matthew is a true American Hero because he was not scared of the risks of his job and performed his job to the best of his abilities. He would have been fighting over there so that his family didnt have to fight over here. He gave his life for the love of family and country.
