He went to save another brother (Marine} who was wounded and pinned under fire. My son was in route when they came in contact with an IED.

My Hero

The night of his graduation he voluntarily joined the Marine Corps. because of how he felt about 9/11. Words can't even express how PROUD I am of MY HERO for sacrificing his life for our FREEDOM. Jon Eric is so special in my Heart and always will be. He was a very loving kind person and we were very close. I miss him so much I talk about him everyday I will CARRY ON his name forever. I hold my head up high so no one will ever forget all of our FALLEN HEROES.
