We want to use the utmost care before sending a portrait to a family member without their knowledge or approval.
Please note that the Portrait and related information will be posted on the Hero Portraits website. In addition, the Portrait and the information may be used in a TV appearance, show, feature movie or related venue, a book or related publication, specifically produced to honor our heroes. By submitting this application you agree to this possible use.
We are only able to paint a portrait of single individuals. Unfortunately, we cannot paint entire families spouses, or other relatives or friends. The cost to do such portraits is simply prohibitive. It is OK to upload such photos and advise which individual is the Hero that is specified in the application. If approved we will Photoshop accordingly. The best portraits are from individual photos.
Once your application has been approved you will be given a link to upload the image you would like painted along with a section on the site where you can upload "Letters Home."
